hello blog world... long time so see. i havent updated this in a while and i figured i would do a free write of whatever comes to mind. lots of things have happened, changed, whatever, and i'll get into all of it later. but for now, here we go;

living in memphis is weird... almost funny
there are people from suburbs and from inner city "hood"
people that dont worry about and those that dream about having money
and the ladies... prim, proper, and well kept, to the grilled out thugs... lol.
its amazing... but for now i think i might have found my star
i know i havent always been the best with communication and my life has been a mess
between school, work, and dealing with my dad, all i want to do is rest.
she shines bright with her natural hair that i love, so she is kinda like my northstar
where ever im at, i can look up and know where i want to be...

i would imagine when i get the change to be inside her...
she'll ride just as smooth... :)
i digress.
she's smart, pretty, and real... everything that i need to stay on track
its alot to think about, and writing on her... i'll have to come back

memphis has taught me alot since ive been here
and now, im not sure if i'll be here much longer...
i've been robbed(my apartment atleast), meet people from all over
dealt with shady business owners, etc. etc. but its all made me stronger
now where ever my life takes me next, i think i'll be ready.

back in the gym

well im back in the gym... and so i begin my quest to be 210lbs of shredded greatness(lol). im well on my way... my legs are still and have always been massive, worked out and my last set of 10 on the leg press was at 855lbs... not too shabby considering the fact i haven't seriously worked my legs in months. dont want to hurt my knees either... but anyways, my weak point i think is my lats... they're strong, but they're not quite where i would like them to be... hopefully with my schedule, i'll be able to get them right. i'll let you guys know how that works... plus, taking in 7000 calories a day is going to be fun.later

what is a person to do when they have someone they love that doesn't believe anything they say? trust is something that has to be earned, but it gets really old having someone question and second guess everything you say/do... especially when you are telling truth. the truth isn't going to change, no matter how many times you ask me... i know i haven't always been the greatest of persons, but damn... maybe there is more to the problem than just me. and if i question something, im wrong??? lets be fair and realistic.

i dont think many of you guys that read this actually know me and my parents, but i am sure that some of you can relate...

why do parents commit their child to do something without even see if they want to do it??? especially when that "child" is grown.

i cant answer that question for anything, but my experiences with that are horrid. i get committed to something either i had no idea about and dont want to do, get committed to something i kinda knew about and had not made a decision if i wanted to be involved, or get committed to something i actually knew about before hand and made a decision not to do. any case is wrong in my opinion. and then they will try to guilt you into doing it.... thats what i cant stand the most. "i raised you", "i kept food in your stomach and clothes on your back"... yes, maybe they did do that... but isnt the parent are required to do so???

i actually try to avoid letting my parents doing anything for me if i can because knowing my father, he'll use that and hang it over my head for years on end. there is nothing worse than actually having to talk to them and they bring up stuff from 5-10+ years ago.

i didnt know this before... and i'm sure gm is finding out very very fast as well, but if you get into a new v6 camaro and drive it, then get into a new v8 camaro (doesnt matter which engine)... you will tear it up. people are dropping transmissions left and right. 1st gear is in the same spot as REVERSE in another!!! what the fuck were they thinking??? very bad thing in my opinion... but yeah, be careful... people backing into people at stop lights, and just tearing the cars up thinking they are downshifting...

its a shame, i got more emails and texts from websites and forums i'm a part of about my birthday than friends when i woke up... but its changing as the day goes on. mothers day and my birthday is alot to remember i guess. lol. other than my birthday, everything is everything. kinda anxious about starting school again, but thats another day. later

the whip...

well, like i said in the other post, i have a new whip... its a 1991 240sx. im planning to keep this car for a while and i couldnt leave you without a picture or two(i took more than 1, but i dont like them) so here it is...



i want to paint the car... the orange is cool, but it gets way too much attention being orange. i'm really leaning towards black... either satin black or jet black. the interior is amazing... not a single rip/tear/stain... quick hub steering wheel, all of that... and i just hooked up my system so my music is loud and i love it. i need to put my spacers back on the wheels to make my suspension sit right again, and tint the glass all the way around, but i gotta save my money... trying to do right. :)

long time no blog

well, its been a while since i've blogged... a few things have happened;



-moving sucks, just incase you didnt know

-my parents had their anniversary on the 6th

-im sick as hell, have been fighting this crap for like a week...

-i drive a 240sx now... looks faster than it realy is, but a fun car

-i've seemed to really hurt my shoulder again... not sure how, but i'll know soon enough

-im getting ready for school again... paperwork on top of paperwork, but its all worth it

-work is still work, i am starting to hate it... but o well, im getting my personal training certification and im going to get paid alot more to do something i want to do anyways...

-lots of crazy stuff has happened as well, like one of the workers at the store just didnt show up b/c he had to go pick up his un-employment check(think about that...) it shouldnt take you long to get that, and realized why i got pissed off... dude has a job, actually 2 jobs, but he avoids reporting it all to avoid child support... and is still pulling un-employment... not fair to the mother, the kid(s), other people that work at the store, not to mention all the honest people who pay their taxes... the owners are helping this guy out and i would love to get this stuff straightend out, but doing so would mess up my income, so until i get certified, i'll just remain "silent" even though the tax people kinda know about it now.

and right now... im tired, so im going to lay back down. later

wow... 6 inches of snow in the last 3 hours is nice... but keeping in mind that its memphis and march 1st tomorrow is kinda weird. but nice. people cant drive here though, i'll have fun driving around with my truck in 4wheel high and maybe make some money pulling people out of ditches. :)

letting go of the iroc

well, i tried to work out the deal with the guy who had the nova... he bullshitted with me for long enough... and he finally called me saying the car was ready... so iwent and looked at it... he crapped over the car... he said that the car would be primed... it wasnt. he said he would re-do the interior... he didnt. it was supposed to have new tires all the way around... the old tires were still on, he hadnt even ordered the tires... it was such a waste of time... then he had the nerve to get mad at me b/c i had him do "all this work" to make the car what i wanted and i screwed him over... he even said that i made him turn down trades for several nice cars... cars much nicer than my car... corvettes, tahoes, new mustangs, etc. etc... i told him that he should call one of the many people that he claimed wanted the car, and of course he got mad again b/c they dont exist... oh well. he would have been better to leave it the way it was, but him taking a can of spray paint to the interior is not redoing the interior of any car. him sanding parts of the car and rattle can paint(not even primer) is not having the whole car primed, and the amount of rust in the quarters, and trunk... come on... my camaro with a messed up front end is still at least 2x maybe even 3x what that car is... with the motor. lol.

so i put my car out there and ive had a few offers for trading it... an old acura integra, jet ski's, and many more... but one thing that really has my attention, a chevy powered nissan... lol. its a nissan pickup that has a chevy engine swap, and actually looks really good... bumps here and there, but overall... a cool little truck. maybe this deal will work. what do you think?

ok...girls... imagine we're out together in the mall and some girls walk by and you hear them say "damn he's fine" or something to that effect... but i dont, you get mad and im trying to figure it out... what am i supposed to do in that situation???

and heres a twist... instead of some girls... its some gay ass punks(mind you, im a borderline homophob) and by the time i realize whats going on, they're gone. what the hell am i supposed to do??? run and catch them, get into a fight, probably get into alot of trouble b/c im defintly not suposed to be fighting and get charged with a hate crime or some stupid shit...

i dont think its so bad... and yes, the tach is fuctional(yeah, ive seen some peope with tachs that arent real which is so funny, and ive seen people with tachs that were actually real, but were never hooked up, and probably never will be). the shifter isbeing changed to a hurst rachet... should be nice. as progress happens, i'll let yall know. oh, the new power steering pump is nice, but the bracket doesnt work, dude is trying to make it work. we'll see

thoughts

well, i havent wrote anything in a couple days... wanted to do something, so i'll just type out some thoughts.

-im super anxious about this nova (gonna try to stay off the topic of cars today)
-school is on hold for right now this semester... going to meet up with some professors and the dean of engineering tomorrow to "talk about it"
-work is still work, but may be moving to surburba memphis and might be getting a job other than what i have now, not sure but yeah, time will tell
-working out is still going good... i'll be in the gym tonight after work. actually had a couple people ask me about training them, not really the right person to train others, but when the personal trainers at the gym look like john daily and charge 40-50 bucks an hour... i cant blame them for looking elsewhere.
-my hair is growing back... missed it, but its on the way back
-i really need to clean up my stuff... the pile of shoes and stuff isnt really cutting it.
-got my w2's in so i guess its time to go ahead and knock out my taxes, maybe get something back. :)
-2 more things on cars... i have a bunch of friends that are into cars, but just found out that one of them has family that runs a shop here that he's sure will hook me up and help me out with my car if i want. i'll be meeting with them sometime eventually.
-and memphis motorsports park is opening up feb 21... it's going to be crazy... i'll be there
-if you havent heard... T.O. is getting his own show on vh1... cant wait to see this waste of tv time... o well

if you go to the link, you'll be directed to a wonderful car... the 2009 zr1... the very first one in memphis... the wait list for this 100k+ car is full and has been ever since they announced it. being that with the ls9 in it produces 639 hp from the factory!!! and dude is letting xtreme auto do headers, a pulley swap and a tune when everything becomes available because the 638 horses wont be enough... they dont even have the freaking mods and stats on this car available yet. its too expensive for most people to even see none the less touch and mess with. cant wait to see what he does to it.

ive found a muscle car now... its a nova... not too bad looking... and its running like crazy... was an old mans car... he gave it to his son and he ended up dragging the car... he stripped it out, relocated the battery to the trunk, it had a built 383 stroker in it, but he sold the engine...now he has turned it back to a street car. it has a built 350 in it now with a turbo 350 trans on and it is pretty amazing what he's done with it. it has hedman headers, TrickFlow heads, chrome valve covers, flowmaster exhaust, eldenbrock 4 barrel carb, eldenbrock alum entake, accel bille tech distributor, accel double coated wires, B&M shift kit thats stalls in 2nd gear, posi rearend. car is still kinda stripped out though... no back seat, and the bucket seats arent the best and i've told him that to make the deal, he's got to do alot of stuff and he's actually saying he's going to... we'll see. here's a pic of the car...

4. swap the 700r4 in place of the turbo 350.

he says he'll have all of this done in a months time... i doubt it, but if he can pull it off... it might be a nice thing

kinda feel bad for my little brother

he is a huge weight lifter and athletic(kinda like me...lol) anyways, come to find out...he has a blown acl. and whats even crazier is that he's had a blown acl and just has been running, lifting, and everything... through the pain... crazy for real. like he didnt feel it. only reason he went to the hospital is b/c he literally couldnt walk... and our mom made him go. and him living and doing so much with a torn acl really has made things alot worse... he's supposed to have surgery like yesterday, but whenever he has a break in school from test and stuff is when it'll happen. hopefully everything will go well with it.

im getting tired of work... its easy work, but it can be long... especially since the people that work with me arent really about anything... its starting to get annoying. i mean, i run the store... me. i do the paperwork to monitor sales day by day, week by week... i enter peoples time worked, and even cut the paychecks... and its crazy b/c nobody else really knows what all i do for the store. work 10 hrs days back to back to back... man the whole store alone. make smoothies, clean the store, even handle the delivery truck while handling 10+ customers all with more than 1 smoothie and of course they're all the more complicated smoothies. its can just be frustrating... just wanted to vent. but yeah.. didnt go to the gym today, my shoulder is bothering me, and i needed to let my body rest a little... i'll probably be back at it tomorrow night. of course after working 8 hrs at the store. later

last night

well i worked till close last night... went to work out, stopped by mcdonalds to get some food(the mcrib is back by the way...lol), went and took a shower and passed out. i wasn't supposed to pass out, but oh well... im not really sore right now, but i'm sure i will be tomorrow. everything is starting to show, my arms are noticeably bigger and things are really tone up... its a good feeling. working out calms me and its bad that i havent in like a year in a half... but i'll stop now... im typing in circles and i guess i'm kinda boring today. i'm off work today and enjoying it. going to eat. later yall

the n97

oh yes... for all the tech/nerds/whatever you may say(im included)... here it is. the n97... the ultimate device. if you know me, you know i'm big on phones, computers, et.al. but this is what i want. i dont even like touch screens, but im sure i will get over that. lol. im a nokia fan, my last few phones have been nokias, excluding my blackberry's and the device that graces my pocket currently is the n95... i have an 8gb card in it and have several thrid party apps that make this so great... its 2 years old and there is still very very few devices that even rival it. and i would definetly put mine against anything you can come up with... but this... the n97. i WILL have one when they come out. the things that makes it so great is its memory capacity... 32gb built on... and expandable with the 16gb micro's(that i have yet to see)... NOT FREAKING WINDOWS MOBILE BASED... S60 is great, tries, tested, and proven over and over again as one of the greatest mobile operating systems(not knocking andriod, but its so new and only on the ugly t-mobile G1)... and of course, the qwerty keyboard just in case you dont like all touch.(which makes so much sense)... come on... iphone users... imagine what is going to happen once that screen locks up... its not like you can take the battery out... you have to send it in to apple or if you just happen to live where there is an apple store around, take it to them b/c att isnt going to give you another. espically since most iphones are jailbroken now for apps that people actually want to use. i like buttons, and something i can take the battery out of if needed. lol. i know... i know... this probably wont be seen anytime soon... im probably shorting it saying 18 months...lol. but o well. by then, i should be doing alot better finance wise so hopefully getting it wont be an issue. i'll save now for it. lol. here are some pics to look at...

hey everyone... happy new year. hopefully 2009 will be better for everyone than 2008 was. me included. talking with some of my friends, having a girlfriend is hard work, espically once they've moved apart with school or whatever. im like yea, i definetly agree. long distance is really hard, had my experience with that and wasnt good. phone calls and text messages only do so much. it may work for some, but me personally, i like to be able to see the person on a regular basis... there is alot more to that thought, but havent figured out how to word it... but anyways, im faithful and thats what counts... even if someone doesnt believe it... i know for myself and as long as i do the right thing, i'll be fine. :)









oh... and i really hope one of these actually get released this year... we'll see the nano will have the optical drive but is smaller and not as strong of a device... the touch will be larger, look like a normal laptop, but instead of a keyboard, have two(thats right... 2) touch screens... only downside and a very big one... there will be no option of an optical drive... just ssd. :( they're both still in the works, and maybe they'll merge and make just one super device.
