new years should be interesting...not sure if i'll be doing anything or not... may go out or something... dont feel like sitting and watching the ball drop for every time zone... it gets old. im pretty bored, but nothing is really going on... oh im getting back in the gym... i'll hopefully get back like i used to be... get my hulk on. lol. i'll give it about a month or two before i start getting big for real... im sure i'll let you guys know. actually i'm going to the gym tonight to train my back... lol. later

been a while again

christmas time

well its almost christmas time... weird feelings come over me as it gets so close. this time last year, i wasnt talking to either of my parents, didnt go see them for christmas or new years... they hated me... well i shouldnt say they, my dad... we had got into it over stupid shit for as long as i can remember and i guess it was mid december last year where i was at my grandma's on the phone with him and we got into it over something stupid... i dont even remember... but i walked out. hung up the phone, took the keys to my truck and left them on my grandma's counter so he couldnt say i stole the truck since he paid the insurance on it, and walked... keep in mind my grandma livesin the middle of nowhere rural arkansas. her house is like 2.5 miles away from the nearest street light. i walked about 3 miles into town where i had shaun pick me up. all i had was a back pack with some clean underwear, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and an extra set of jeans and a couple t shirts. im so thankful i had a friend to come and get me... i was heated. my grandma was pissed off at my dad because he was wrong... he said i did a whole bunch of stuff that i just didnt do. he was calling me all kinds of names, and i just snapped... i guess it had all built up over the years. my grandma came looking for me... its hard to miss low and high beams off a new lexus when its pitch black outside... i didnt want to be found. i actually laid down in a ditch just inches out of water so she couldnt see me... she called my cell phone countless times... my mom called countless times... my dad... not once. i would say the phone pattern was the same for the next week or so...anyone who knows me knows the history about cellphones, me and my father... i was staying with shaun and if i wasnt... i would have been homeless i guess. i didnt care at that point. i didnt have a means of transportation... im glad i guess that i had just finished taking finals for school. and shaun... im sure you're reading this and i want to thank you for everything you've done for me driving from memphis to come and get me wasnt something you had to do... thank you again. im starting to get kinda pissed off writing this, so i guess i'll stop. maybe i'll finish later

been so busy

ive been so busy i havent been able to update anything on here... my mobile blogging still doesnt work, so i dont know what else to do about that... i gotta say kongrats to my niggas kenyon "the dawn" lowe and j.r. johnson for beingi apart of "the return of swagger" the kome bak of kappa alpha psi at the university of arkansas after 5 long years. hate i missed it, but anyways, kongrats nupes...

work has been crazy... we had to fire a guy for no call no show... he had been fuckin up at work anyways, this pushed everyone over the edge... him not being employeed by smoothie king anymore has put alot on me, as in me working all of his shifts as well as doing my own too... im up there at the store everyday for some hours... and it being winter time... its slow, so im usually bored. i sit and play games on my phone, listen to music on my phone(the music we play at the store is horrid), and talk to whoever comes in the store(its midtown... pretty interesting people), if not, you can catch me on yahoo messengeron my phone. lol. not really looking forward to being there today, but its cool... as long as im on the clock, im getting paid and thats what really counts. but for now... im going towatch "nothing like the holidays" on this website for free that a friend told me about...might be illegal, but as long as its up, im gonna take advantage. lol.

ok...ive come to terms

im sure that when the cops finally do get around to searching these guys places, all of my stuff will be gone, all my stuff i really wanted back will have been sold, like my expensive shoes and clothes, softball bat, etc, etc,... i'd be happy with getting anything back though... its taken alot out of me not to just go over and beat the old roommate since i know he was involved with his shady actions and all.

but on a new note, im becoming a better person, as a friend told me, "they're just material things" and hopefully i'll find my "zen" about it and let it go. im trying...

ok... stressed out

ok... im stressing out for real... first off, i got my car fixed... the situation with my stuff being stolen has gotten crazy... my old roommate wouldnt tell me who had my stuff, but he knows who this person is and where they live... pissed me off b/c now i know he was in on it. went to the place with the cops, he wasnt there or just wasnt opening the door. very convenient... but yeah, now his boys(the people that have all my stuff) are calling up to my job making threats and all kinds of stupidness... so of course i went ahead and made the call to memphis police department again to report this... i have done it and now its in their hands. im sure going to work will be interesting b/c the guy that is working tonight told them i would be in at 12 noon tomorrow. i'll just have a cop there to see what happens and if anything does, they will be arrested. i know its all non-sense and extra drama i definitely dont need right now, but its happening. later

haha... whats up everybody, hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. i did, ate all kinds of food,had a couple beers, watched football with friends and family. :) shout out to my spootieottiedopalicious angel... you know who you are. things are going weird but good. i have to file a police report today b/c my ex-roommate and co. have stolen all kinds of shit from me and they all wanna give me the run around. so im gonna let m.p.d. deal with them rather than stress out over it or do something stupid myself... about $1500 worth of polo sweaters, slacks, cole haan's, a softball bat, shoes and boots...oh and my blender. so yeah, you can imagine im pissed off about that. i also am starting to have problems with my ignition on my car, but im getting it handled today. AAA is so wonderful... well AAA plus that is. i get 100 miles of towing free each day, and a rental car if needed. lol. anyways... i gotta go, but i'll get at yall later. peace and hair grease. and go obama. lol

dang i hate being sick...

first off, i have to let you know that i am not the type of person that gets sick all the time. this has tobe the first time ive been sick like this in a few years, but nevertheless... im sick. sinus infections suck balls... ive had a headache for the last few days, pressure behind my eyes and in my ears, it hurts to swallow and sneeze, my head was hurting just to move it, normal movments, like walking hurt... you really do notice it when you feel like i did... just a bad situation.

so of course, i went to the doc today. told him what was going on and he took care of it. pretty much just gave me a shot and said be gone... the needle was big as hell... not like 1-2 inches... this bitch was like 4-5inches. then he wrote me a prescription for this nasal spray... and within 2 hours... i probably had a half of cup of muscus come out of my head... all the pressure is gone, and i feel alot better. still hurts to swallow and to sneeze, but my headache is finally gone.

i want to blog about some other stuff, but it will have to wait, i dont have the time or will to type it all out right now, but its on the way. later

last night i did one of the most retarded things i can rember doing to myself in a long time... it started out as a good thing, eatting some really good hot wings, but turned ugly pretty quick after i finished... not thinking and having an itch or twitch in my eye, i rubbed my eye... thus putting the freakin tabasco and hotsause mix directly into my eye... it was horrible. i actually fell on the floor holding my eye like, "shit... i just blinded myself". this morning its still a little irritated, but not hurting like it was.

and i guess if you notice the time of the blog post, you can tell i am not at my normal church... i attended bed baptist this morning. great service. but yeah, its pretty much over now and i guess i'll get up to watch some football.

That car is freakin sweet

I'm not a jag fan, but i just saw one that i like. Like really like. Its a big body, i never even seen it before, but the tag on it says x1. Old dude in his 70's easy pulled up with one, steped out it a 1000 dollar suit it looked like, and picked up his dry cleaning. The car just sat there purring... Sounds like the v12, kinda wanted to look inside it, but i'm black and the sun is going down, don't need anyone thinking i'm trying to boost it. I'll just look it up when i get home.

blackberry storm and verizon...

well i went into the verizon store this morning... my only intention was to play with the new blackberry storm. it didnt happen. the phone isnt in the store and they say it wont be until next weekend, but all they had was a picture of a dummy phone... let me say that one more time... a picture... of a dummy phone... like thats really going to show me what the phone is liike and what it can do... dude tried to get me to sign my life over to verizon in a contract just go get on the contact list for when the phone comes in. i told him i would want to see the phone and that i am happy with my service with t mobile as of right now, espically since i dont have a contract and have the phone i like. mind you, i kept my phone in my pocket b/c i didnt want to end up in a long drawn out discussion over it and x,y,z... i told dude that i might come in next weekend to see the phone and he wanted to play me saying that it wont be here, you gotta sign the contract to even have a chance to get it... i'm like damn it, i just want to see it. and i left. my experience with verizon thus far is kinda weird, so yea not sure how i feel about it b/c i havent seen it, but if you know me... you know i like buttons b/c they work unlike touch screens that have this weird tendancy to lock up when i pick them up. i'll put my review when i see it

well its been a week

and lots has happened in this last week or so. im happy... so happy that i fixed my alarm system in my car. it was sounding sick. the lights didnt flash anymore when i hit the button, a whole bunch of stuff, but after spending a daypretty much re-wiring theentire cars electrical system... i found that all my problems were coming from eight(8) 1 ohm resistors... about a couple dollars worth of electronics... but autozone for some reason had some and they were on sale in a 10 pack for $0.90.... i fixed my car with pretty much 5 or 6 hours of my time and one dollar.

next thing, i had a meeting with the coroporate people yesterday... they gave me a raise, and offered me to buy my own store to run... im too broke for that, and people here in memphis act funny... it gets into the 50's and nobody wants a smoothie b/c its "too cold"... ha... but yeah, i'm running the store as it is now, and im cool with what i do. i recieved a couple more responsiblities, and its stuff thats easy to do, but i guess most people i work with arent computer literate, good with numbers, etc.etc. i would say spelling, but i know i suck at that... lol.

im going to keep my car and finish it out... it'll be nice once i really do finish it. i pretty much gave up on the whole fantasy football league, i was getting my ass handed to me by no name players and i know my luck is bad, so i just gave up... still, im not in absolute last place though. lol.

my dad had surgery a couple days ago... he's sore and feels crappy, but he's doing ok. talked to him last night and got to listen to him go on and on about stuff he thinks i should be doing. getting ready for school again in the spring... all that good stuff. but yea, i need to take my shower and get ready to go to work. later yall

It wasn't anything weird, but when he got up and walked into the store without any physical hindrance, i was clowning. Lol. I had to take a picture of where he parked. Here ya go.

weekend fun

well, the weekend wasnt so bad... halloween was interesting, went through a hauned house, it wasnt scary, but for some reason everyone was being very dramatic...

watched the davinci code on tv, went to see my grandma and other family members, went to church with my grandma today... going to see her was crazy b/cim like a celeberity or something there,everyone is taking pictures, wanting to shake my hand, give me hugs and stuff...made sure i had my germ-x before i ate...lol. but it was cool.

came back to memphis, went up to the store to check on some stuff, one of my friends has one of the new google phones(the g1)... it seems cool, but i havent had the time i would like to play with it to put my review on it... but yea, its looks alright.

and now im home watching tv. kinda bored, but o well, its whats happenin. later

2 weeks have past and lots has happened

Well I’ve been gone for a while and its been crazy. I took a vacation, to where you ask...none of your gotdamn business... lol. I had a little fun, hung out and stuff. Things are so crazy now. Jennifer Hudson’s situation is so messed up/sad. The news lady from little rock got beat up and died two days later… no idea on motive or who. 2 kids from U.C.A. (University of Central Arkansas), were shot and killed in their dorm this morning… its sad.

D.L. Hugley has a show on CNN now. It should be pretty good. Haven’t got to watch it yet, but I will soon. David Allen Grier’s show, “Chocolate News” is funny as hell, not that I was expecting it to be Chappelle Show type humor, I was impressed.
This whole political scene is so stupid. Sarah Palin is retarded. Fox News aka “Fox Noise” is so against Obama, but o well, that’s why I watch MSNBC. The whole thing with the RNC spending $150,000 on clothes to change her appearance is just crazy… no way in hell she isi going to donate them all to charity. The whole RNC is pissed off at mccain and I can see why, that last interview with her and mccain was incredible… the looks on his face were priceless, they said so much, like, “bitch, what the fuck are you saying, etc. etc…”

This whole stunt invading another country is another way to try to get more votes for mccain on the behalf of the worlds most incompetent leader of all time, our president of the last 8 yrs, George W. Bush Jr. Oh I cant stand him. He is absolutely ruining everything just before he gets out of office, giving away all this money, to set the economy to fail as soon as Obama get in office. I’m honestly surprised that nobody killed him over his terms… but I guess I should watch what I say for now…lol.

The republicans have nothing… they are falling/ have fell apart. Name calling and slinging mud is all they can do now. Barack pretty much has everything sewed up… even with the invasion thing, mccain would have to win every red state from last election, and steal like 4 states that are blue from Barack to maybe… just maybe tie, but the way things are looking, the red stated that mccain needed aren’t even wanting him, and I’m glad. I was kinda worried about him being the first black president because you know everytime you hear the story about the first black person to do anything… its always a horrible story. But this time, I have a feeling that it wont be. And for someo reason something does happen, civil war II will break lose; riots of the past wont be anything compared to what will happen.

On a more personal note, I haven’t updated my blog in a while, my phone was cut off for like 4 days, but its back now. I haven’t checked my email in forever b/c I was “disconnected” from the world for a little while, but im back… and I’m gonna change my blog style to like it was before… if any of you people remember… I will be 100% honest and more open to what I’m feeling/thinking… write poems like I did before and I think you will enjoy. Oh… I gotta say eb, you got me in fantasy league, shit happens, this has to be the worst league performance ive ever had, but its cool.

And now some funny things that I was talking to some friends about, they’re stupid, but anyways…
1.Why do ketchup bottles say “shake well before use” and ketchup packs don’t… and nobody says anything about it.

ok... its been a little while again

i havent posted a blog in a while again, but ive been crazy busy... running around, moved to a new apartment, have a roommate... he's pretty cool. we get along and have no problems thus far. working on my car of course... its a never ending project, but its coming along pretty nice. im pretty tired, and imwanting to type out some more, but i dont feel like it. maybe tomorrow i'll continue. goodnight

my car

well my car is a work in progress... ive been racing for a little bit now and won a little money to put in my gas tank, its all good and fun and all, but i want to really make my car stand out now. i want to get it painted like an ostrich white with red rally stripes down it, or jet black with the stripes... not sure yet, but the interior is already black and red now and pretty nice. i already found a guy to do the paint for me and i'll have to get new decals and he can work that out too. the problem with all of this is that it will cost about 1500 bucks to do it all and i wont have it for 2-3 weeks.

now where my readers come in... (smile), if anyone has the urge to help a broke, but very wishful guy out with my want to get my car taken car of... it would be greatly appriciated. :D

ok... i finaly won a fantasy fball game, not by much, but a win is a win. now im looking to move somewhere close to where i live now with cheap rent b/c my income isnt the highest. ive got a couple places in mind, but the roommates that ive found are kinda weird. one had funny colored posters and stuff on the walls, and another looked like he was a punk, so thats not happening. maybe i'll find something soon.

oh, the bank job sent me a letter, looks like they're still looking for someone else but me making the highest score on the test of all the applicants wasnt good enough. o well. smoothie king isnt so bad, and see and meet alot of interesting people there. anyways. thats it. later

been a while

well... its been a while since ive said anything on here, but ive been crazy busy. so for a quick run down... my fantasy foooball team is sucking donkey balls right now. its not a bad team, but everyone i play just seem to have amazing no name guys that come up with 27 points or some shit like that. and my star players like t.o. gets 1 point. it doesnt make sense, but o well. its not for money, and hopefully i'll get some back on these teams. the other games i lost, i would have beat anyone else in the league but the person i was lined up with. about 100 points and losing games while others get 60 and win. o well. i'll stop ranting about that. the job thing is going good, but i still have a few things in the works. if something does turn over, i'll let yall know. peace

obama's speech last night

it was amazing... he called out mccain on so many issues and is ready for the debates... so ready for all 3, i'll make sure to record them. one thing that pissed me off is that TVone interviewed who of all people... jesse jackson. what the hell was he even doing at the speech, someone needs to slap him. if anyone would provide travel for me to do it, i'd slap him myself and tell him "do something about it", but thats probably wont happen. anyways, im ready for president obama to make these changes.

dang... dr. dre's son dead at 20 yrs old

Andre Young, Dr. Dre's son, was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. According to reports, Young was out the previous night and got home around 5:30AM and his mother later found him dead when she checked on him at 10:00AM.

Dr. Dre's rep released a statement saying "Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time." The cause of death will be revealed after a toxicology report is released, Andre Young was only 20 years old.

tournament... and maxwell tour

man... the tournament was wild to say the least. the tournament was supposed to last all day(and night) with our first game starting at 1pm and the championship game starting at 11pm. we won our first game 11-1... blasted them, the whole team was looking good and everything. second game was going a good game, we got off to a bad start but were making out comeback really fast, i hit in the tying run as we were on our comeback, but rob, one of our best players(the rbi) was tripped by the catcher and he ended up busting his head on the fence post(6 staples required... more on that later). the team that we were playing was undefeated and just happened to be sponsering the whole thing... provided the umps and all. they knew we were on the comeback and we're probably gonna win, but with rob cutting his head, they had an opening, nobody was focused and since the games were timed, we had to keep playing. they wanted to send rob to the hospital b/c they knew if he kept playing we would beat them and soil their undefeated season. nevertheless... we lost the game. since its a double elemination tournament, we could have still won the whole thing... we would have just had to beat the team twice in the end.

anyways, our coach is an older guy and he was playing with us. the next game we were supposed to win easliy, but he wouldnt let rob play, even though he was taped up and feelign great and wanted to play. so he took him off the official roster without telling anyone, so when the game started, rob was not allowed to play. i thought that was a bitch move, but anyways, the thing that got everyone hot is that he put him back on with 5 mins left in the game(pointless at that time)... if he wasnt going to let him play, then not let him play at all, not once you know we wont be able to put a gap on the scoreboard. if you really wanted him not playing, he would have kept him otu the entire game, standing behind his word. not throw the game by keeping him out for that long, then once its over, be the first person out of the park and the parking lot. and then not show up for church the next day... o well.

went with t-mobile

well i have my phone now and i went with t-mobile. its great. i have good coverage, and i have my fav5 set up. im using a n95 and it works amazing with the network. wi-fi makes it where i can use the internet w/o running up a huge data charge bill, the 5 mp camera is great, good pictures and video quality. i hope i wont have any problems anytime soon.

work is going good i guess. had an interview this morning with a manufacturing company that went well. hopefully that pans out and i'll have something that i'd really enjoy doing, looking at and working on machines.

oh... and have yall seen queen latifa on the new jenny craig ad??? wow, i was really surprised.

at&t versus t-mobile

well im stuck between these two phone carriers.

at&t has so many people and most of the people i know have at&t, so the mobile to mobile thing is nice. just as the rollover minutes. but they will not give me service unless i sign my life over to them for a minimum of 2 years according to the rep i talked with(which i think is a lie, but thats something totally different).

t-mobile on the other hand has cheaper plans, the fave 5 deal, and what i like most... no contract if i dont want it... the downside is that they dont rollover minutes. all i have to do is provide my own phone. their rep was much cooler, and said that the whole purpose of the contracts are to help people out with deals on the phones. it makes sense and i liked the way everyone at t-mobile was. very cool, nice people.

right now... im leaning towards t-mobile, and unless at&t can get it together... thats who i'll be with.

well i just almost had a wreck... not b/c of anything i did, or the other guy either... we just both happened to see the new 2009 challenger blacked out fly by us/in between us going about 130-150... it was so sick. almost had a heartattack... not b/c he almost hit me, but b/c of the fact that the car was so sick. i didnt know they were out yet... but i know for sure now... and i probably need to take a shower b/c of it. lol. gm is fuckin up... they should have released the camaro the same weekend transformers came out... we wouldnt have all these people driving around in these mustangs thinking there big shit. or these chargers(but that srt is somethin serious)... and now this challenger... but im not mad at it. all in all, if any gm reps read this... just know yall fucked up letting the challenger come out before the camaro also.

well, i havent updated this in a while, but i really dont have much to say. ive shaved my face, i might post a picture up later... someone told me that if i cut my hair, i would look like chris rock... i was like damn. chris rock isnt an attractive guy to most people, but o well. thats that. working at smoothie king is cool so far, it seems like it'll be a nice in-school job.the people i work with are very different, but its good to diversify my social networks. well thats enough. oh, listening to old gerald levert with the tops down is kinda romantic...later.

im excited about this church softball tournament...we're playing with asa rules and stuff. if you know anything about asa slowpitch softball... there are very scrict regulations on the bats you can use, which usually cuts out alot of people's bats they already own. the ruleon the bats is that the ball can not come off the bat faster than 98 mph. that normally wouldnt be a problem, but seeing that these church league is so serious and people own 300, 400 and 500 dollar bats... its very serious. i now have a miken freak 98 asa legal bat. im so ready to hit with it in a game. breaking it in at a batting cage is cool and all, but batting cage balls arent the real thing. here is a picture of what the bat looks like...



except my bat now has an orange/fire wrap grip to match the lettering on it... gotta coordinate. lol. i'll let you know once i get to hit with it on a field.

so random

ok... i had planned on a totally different post, but i'll wait and surprise everyone with that later. im kinda frustrated and confused b/c i have a completely ruined tire on my camaro now. how did this happen you may ask? well i'll tell you... i got in my car going to work yesterday morning, everything was fine. i did my usual check around the car to make sure i actually dont already have a flat tire before i move the car, and no problems, i crank up and start to head out the parking deck, and by the time i get out, i have a flat... i get out, look and behold, a bolt with the head size of a quarter is in my tire and the little air remaining in the tire is flying out. damn. i turn on my hazards and crawl through the hospital district to get to the gas station to see if it will hold enough air so i could get to work. i get there and it holds enough air as long as im moving... so i fly down the street to work and park the car where the big hole is on the ground to see if that would slow it down. i figure i'll just deal with it once i get off. i spend the entire day at work, and about 6ish, i call AAA to bring some air so i can get home. they send a tow truck b/c im a "plus member" and say they'll tow me up to 100 miles for free... i dont want that, i just wanted some air to put in my tire so i could make it home, its after 5 on a sunday, no tire place is open, so what in the hell was dude thinking... just tow my car and leave it outside a tire place in midtown memphis(where cars go missing all the time mind you)... i luckly had some fix-a-flat in my car, put it in and drove home... the holeis way too big to stop up so it leaks out as soon as i stop, but im home. now i have to find tires for my car and that isnt really that hard, but low profiles are expensive and im broke. i'll see what i can find/do.

bud light lime

well its been out a while now and imjust now trying it out, but i was really surprised by it. it has almost a sweet taste to it. i dont even like corona's but this taste like what i remember coronas tasting like, but much much better. i like green beers and dark beers, and now, bud light lime. lol. not sure how many it would take to get a buzz, but o well. its a good drink.

south carolina is gay???

wow... this poster has caused so many problems and i think its kinda funny. i have family that lives in south carolina and they are not gay... and personally, i really had never noticed a huge "gay" population when i have visited south carolina. but nevertheless... this poster has touched so many people, not just gays, but blacks as well(which i think is the bigger problem in a primarily black state) by the plantation comments and picture. i understand its all history and stuff, but whatare your thoughts on this tourism ad?

i was asked why dont i try to make a mends with my father... and i used this quote as my answer. i know my father and i have both done wrong... everyone knows this and we can agree on this point. in the past, ive actually tried to make things better by talking to him and communicating with him only to be "shot down". not just once, but numerous occasions. so when i told to keep doing the same thing, expecting him to change, that quote was the first thing in my head and out of my mouth. i would like things to be better, but i cant make him change. ive changed. and i can control what i do, but its to the point where i almost dont want to call my mom at home b/c i know i'll end up talking to my dad and we'll get to arguring. im just tired of it. am i wrong for not wanting to keep getting chastied for trying to make things work? it wouldnt be that hard, if he would "do the right thing"... but o well. im just frustrated right now and needed to do something, so i typed.

the 4th

my 4th of july was a very interesting day... i went to see my grandmother, my great uncle and aunt and some other family members over in forrest city, ar(one of the crime ridden towns of arkansas). all of my family lives out in the middle of the country on dirt roads. but anyways, my grandmother was happy to see me, it was a surprise. we talked and stuff for a little while. she has bought a new polaris atv for her garden/farm... its crazy nice. oh, and i can never go over to her house without her giving me some eggs from her hens, some food, rolls, etc. etc. :)

i also went to see my great uncle and aunt and when i pulled up, my cousions(dad's cousins) were outside shucking and cutting corn(yea, my family is a little country)...so i said hey and talked with them while helping them with the corn for a while. we talked about school, how i like it here in memphis, what they're doing where they are and stuff. i went inside and talked with uncle rufus and aunt rebeka... she was making jam from berries she picked the other day she said and he was just chillin as usual. i sat and talked with him, he told me some stories about what he used to do on the 4th. pure entertainment. i left and came back to memphis, took a shower and watched tv for a little while and went downtown to see the fireworks.

*shaking my head*... damn, 4th of july in downtown memphis... imagine all of memphis... really ALL of memphis on a couple blocks. traffic was horrid, after 30 min on the same block, i found a parking spot. got out and watched the fireworks...it was really nice. i left a little early b/c i didnt want to spend the rest of the night downtown in traffic... so about another 30 min later, i finally get out, and the city of memphis is dead... nobody is on the streets, it was like is anyone alive outside of downtown... but that was cool, i drove around for a little bit, and went to a bar/club by the university of memphis. it was cool, had a few gin and tonics and just listened to music... i kept getting approached by smely girls. it was gross. like they didnt have deodarant,soap or toothpaste... i started having to be rude... the girls werent cute, and stunk. before they even said anything, "i have a girlfriend" was the imediate reaction. all the ohh really looks were weird, but o well. i drove back home and passed out once i got inside.

well i talk in my sleep and probably tell on myself all the time. i remember a couple christmas' ago, i fell asleep in a chair and my brothers and my dad got a video camera to tape the "interview" of everyone asking questions and me actually responding to them... kinda weird b/c i was sleeping and wouldnt believe it if i hadnt seen the film. the best part was when my dad was trying to pry about girls or what happens at parties, i got really vauge with my answers. lol... i guess i need to find out what that is all about, sleeping, but not really being asleep. it probably contributes to the fact that i wake up tired sometimes.

i think my younger brother has me beat though on the whole weird things you do while sleeping... he farts in his sleep... horrible.

anyways, ive had my hair twisted for a couple days now and its cool... my hair is gettign really long and it doesnt feel like it(a good thing). i really dont have a goal on what i want to do with my hair, but i want to keep growing it, and im sure as time moves, i'll do "stuff" with it like this... little dreads(idk), im not a fan of braids unless my hair is really long and i actually have hangtime...(i used to make fun of guys with short braids and im sure karma is just waiting on me...lol)

ive been thinking about getting another tatoo on my back... i already have my intials in red ink that look really good, but i want something more. i know what i want to do, but i gotta have the "extra" money to get it done and "extra" money is hard to come by now a days. but yea, "be faithful to ye self" across my shoulders in black ink outlined in red will be nice...

i guess thats enough of my random thoughts for now... and im doing better on the nail biting as far as i know thus far. lol

nail biting

well ive been biting my nails for as long as i can remember... but keep in mind im not nasty with it. lol. i have nails, unlike a few people i see that dont have any nails and keep biting until their fingers bleed... im nowhere close to being that bad. nobody would even know i bite my nails unless i tell them b/c they're always neat. i dont do manacures or anything like that and my nails are actually in good shape. i just bite them to keep them "trimmed". but im trying to stop biting for good. its hard. they're healthy and look good, but as soon as they get long enough, instead of getting clippers, i bite them... ive tried all the little tricks of putting stuff on my nails that taste nasty...and all of that... any suggestions from you people to end this little annoying habit?

and im sure there are countless of people that bite their nails, im not the only one. lol

long time everyone. restarting the blog, so this is going to be a process.lots has happened, lots has changed, i'll be informing you all in short pieces coming soon. here is a little for now...


i will be going back to school this fall, looking at all i need to do to be ready for it. now i have to balance school and find a new job that will allow me to maintain some kind of income while in school. we'll see how that goes.


fathers day came and passed... funny thing is that i got a text message saying happy fathers day(mind you, i have no kids)...lol. i called the person and they said that it was meant for her baby's daddy, she hadnt heard/seen him in a year, but yea... kinda weird.

if you know me, you know that my relationship with my father is not the best. he lies on me and will do whatever he can to make sure he comes out on top if seem like. he's stolen money from me(signed my checks that are mailed to the house and cashed/deposited them himself since we both have the same name...), stolen my things(and then had the boldness to say i could buy them back... less shipping. really?HA), made alot of people dislike me with his stories about me being rebellious b/c i am the "different child". i dont agree/follow/obey without questions like my siblings. ive always been the troubled child, naturally smarter than my siblings, and always doing things that normal kids/teens/adults do but he doesnt want any of us to do. like having a life... but yea, i'll stop ranting and just say i didnt call him on fathers day. no card. nothing. and the funny thing about it, even throughout all the lies and stuff, he hasnt contacted me about it b/c he knows what id say and excatly how i feel. but wait... my mom contacts me about it, she knows we dont get along, but yea, she tries. we(my dad and i) put my mom through alot, and i do my best for my mom, i do stuff for my mom just b/c... and i always will.

dont get me wrong though, having my dad in my life is more than alot of people have/had. and my parents are still together... even though i could go on and on about that, i wont b/c thats way too much to talk about and i dont feel like getting pissed off today.
